Where It Started: Happy Studios
My creator economy journey began in 2021 at a UK-founded music marketing and creator management agency.
Campaign Management
Started as a campaign manager overseeing influencer campaigns for major music labels. Managed executions for artists including Lil Tecca and Salem Ilese, and facilitated campaigns for brands like Casetify, G-Fuel, and McDonald's.
Growth & Expansion
Quickly progressed to growth-focused projects — sourcing and signing new talent to the roster. Played a key role in growing Happy Studios' Latin American division, Influencia.
Lunar Media
In 2024, I started my own agency to tackle opportunity and pay disparity affecting Asian creators — and it's grown into something much bigger.
Based on my experience within the creator economy, I noticed the opportunity and pay disparity prevalent against Asian creators. I started Lunar Media to tackle this issue — helping creators grow their content careers and monetize their platforms. While we initially focused on Asian talent, Lunar Media now services creators of all backgrounds as a tech-enabled creator management and digital marketing agency with an AI-enabled approach to workflows.
